Why is this site here?

We use it ourselves for SaaS testing and QA: sign-ups, verification emails, and quick workflows where you don’t want to use a personal mailbox.

Do you keep emails forever?

No. Shortly after an inbox expires, the address is closed and messages are deleted. The link may still load, but you won’t be able to view or receive emails.

Do you read the emails?

No. We don’t manually read inboxes. Most traffic is automated sign-ups/verification codes. (We can’t ‘prove’ a negative, so we’ve designed the service to minimise what’s stored: text-only, no attachments, no remote images.)

Can I pay for a longer period of time?

If you need longer than 30 days, message us with the tempInbox address and we can extend it. This is intended for light use (under ~500 emails/month). There’s no charge.

Why is it free?

We built it for ourselves, and the upkeep is minimal. We believe privacy should be a right, not a privilege.

If I return, do I have to use the email provided?

No. Click “New address” any time to get a fresh inbox.

Can I use more than one email account?

Yes. Keep the URL (the /i/ part) for each inbox and you can return to any active inbox during its lifetime.

Why offer extensions by request?

Storage and spam-handling isn’t free. Most people only need an inbox briefly, but 30 days is a safe default. Extensions are manual so we can keep the service ad-free and reduce abuse.
